Incident Summary
A wildfire named the Red Bridge Fire ignited from an unknown source on Sunday, April 23, 2023, south of Four Corners and north of the Duchesne River on the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation and about three miles west of Randlett, Utah.
It was said to be at least 452 acres of cottonwoods, heavy brush, grass, and cattails.

Start Date and Time
It was reported just after 1600 hours.
Fire Behavior
Its fire behavior is said to be extreme with running and spotting.
Fire Resources and Equipment
Fire resources and equipment from the BIA Forestry and Wildfire Fire Service – Uintah and Ourage Agency, along with resources from LapoiuntTridell, Avalon, State of UT Forestry Fire, the USFS, BLM, NPS, BIA, and the Ute Tribe.
Aircraft includes two Blackhawk helicopters from the UT National Guard are assisting with water drops.
Threatened
There are currently no structures in the area under threat.
With that being said, there are currently NO evacuation orders in place.
Fire Operations
Roads are limited in the area, therefore fire personnel is being forced to hike into various area.
Due to a higher level of containment being reached, they will remain on the fire ground overnight to attempt to reach their 100% containment goal.
Weather Reports
Earlier this morning, gusty winds were reported as moving through the area and causing wind-driven runs. It was said to be a big concern for Fire Officials.
Containment Status
There is currently a 90% containment status.
