A wildfire (brush fire) named the BOULDER FIRE broke out just after 1700 hours (1721 PDT) on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, on Hwy 58 and Boulder Creek Road in California Valley, California.

Firefighting aircraft included Air Attack 52, Lead Bravo 9, and Air Tankers 74 and 101.

The fire was said to be about 15 acres burning in flashy fire fuels including grass and heading towards a Solar Farm with winds blowing around 10-15 mph in the area.

Fire resources gained access to the fire line pretty quickly and stopped the forward progression.

No cause is known at the time of this post, however, areas are starting to dry out even more with high temps and low RH.
