It is burning in timber sale of a mix of cedar slash and standing trees and surrounded by heavy timber.

There has been 68 acres and has a 0% containment status.

Level 2 (GET READY) Evacuations: Community of Quinault Village aka Moclips Estates.

The Quinault Indian Nation requested support and the Western WA Type 3 IMT responded and assumed command on August 4, 2023.

Incident Cooperators include WA DNR, Quinault Indian Nation, and local fire agencies.
