SOUTH VALLEY FIRE | 9/2/2023 2015 PDT
Wasco County, Oregon — Resources MEND 4-1, E-933, E-682, E-421, 9403, E-9464, and E-9451 were dispatched today at 1414 hours PDT to a brush fire reported off of South Valley Road in Dufur (Wasco), Oregon. This prompted a Level 3 evacuation issued by the Wasco County Sheriff’s Office, but it has been downgraded.
The cause was due to a blown transformer.
About three hours ago, the forward progression of the fire was stopped and holding the fire at 25 acres.
