TUMWATER, WASHINGTON

Firefighters with the Tumwater Fire Department in Washington State were dispatched to a two-car MVA with entrapment around 1810 hours this evening.

Resources included Tumwater Fire FD and the Tumwater Police Department.

All westbound lanes were blocked on Tumwater Boulevard at I-5, forcing the Tumwater Police Department to detour traffic around the incident.

One patient was extricated from one of the vehicles and transported by Thurston County Medic One’s Medic 5 to an area hospital.

At the time of this update, all lanes have been reopened.

There is no word on what the cause of the crash was from.
