Tornados are now on the ground in the Wichita Metro area  and they are reporting heavy damage.  A call just went to a building collapse at a Retirement home with the main street being blocked.  Heavy rescue units have been deployed to the scene.

In addition, HAZMAT fire units have been dispatched to many parts of the City.  House and brush fires are breaking out.

The airport has suffered partial destruction. 

Fire crews are in the process of checking for walking wounded by clearing block by block.
