Additional Information:
•             Fire Crews dispatched to a report of a residential structure fire.
•             Arriving Firefighters discovered a 3,500 square foot, two-story, single-family residence heavily involved with fire on both floors of the interior and venting through the roof.
•             Due to the extensive fire involvement, firefighters took defensive positions and performed an aggressive exterior attack.
•             Firefighters were able to successfully protect the adjacent homes from the radiant heat and also kept the fire confined to the residence of origin, despite heavy flames. Several “classic” vehicles being stored on the property were also saved.
•             The fire was brought under control within an hour and fire crews worked along with the SB Public Works department utilizing heavy-equipment to access smoldering debris for several hours.
•             The cause of the fire is still under investigation but has been labeled suspicious in nature. The property was recently deemed uninhabitable by code enforcement due to a fire at the same location several weeks ago.
