St. Louise Children pictured with Bellevue Firefighters

SAVING PETS! Members of the Bellevue Fire Department recently visited St. Louise to participate in a presentation of 3 Pet Resuscitation Kits from Miss Gusdorf’s and Mrs. Alleman’s Kindergarten classes. Among the members of the Department who attended was Capt. Chuck Heitz, Lt. Max Williams, Lt. Blaine, firefighter Melissa Liedbetter, and Battalion Chief Lou Faehnrich shown above. The pet kits contain special resuscitation devices designed for pets to be revived during an emergency, and will be carried on the Bellevue rigs. St. Louise Kindergartners reached their goal of raising funds for the 3 pet kits, at $80 each, as part of their year-long service project to benefit the Fire Department.
