As you know, we are all about “Everything Firefighting and EMS”.  Since, our creation on January 29, 2012, we have now extended that those that are First Responders, EMTs and those in SAR, but not limited to Police Officers, Dispatchers, Emergency Managers, ER personnel (Drs., Techs., Nurses) and those that support our Heroes in the Field.  This for those who are on the front line saving lives everyday.

One way we can share with others in the great service you do for others is to reach out to realm of those in the Social Media world.  We are reaching out every day.  We would like to announce our newest Fan Page on FaceBook.  Catch us at “The NW Fire Blog.”

We hope that you’ll become a Fan so you can stay up on  current fire events,  Hero of the Week feature stories, Departments in the News, fire apparatus deliveries and important issues.  In addition, you will find great photos and stories; alerts, notifications, preparedness articles, upcoming events and much more.

However, we would like to ask  a favor of you on our new Fan Page.  We just have a few simple rules to follow.

1)  We are family-friendly blog and PG.  We will leave that up to you.  If you feel it may be inappropriate, it might be.  Please don’t post it.

2)  Our blog features stories about firefighters, EMS, First Responders, Dispatchers, LEO, Search and Rescue Personnel; anything and everthing that has to do with saving lives.   We ask that you respect everyone’s opinions.  We will not tolerate anyone bashing, bullying or any other negative comments about others on our blog.  We take it very seriously.  Your posts and even you will be removed from our blog as disciplinary action.

3)  We ask that you not post anything that resembles a soliciation of products, services or endorsements, this also includes political or religious articles and/or related-posts.  At this time, we are in a free-advertising zone and wish to keep it that way. 

4)  Our Fans are very important to us and we firmly believe no matter if you are caucasin, african-american, spanish, asian,  norwegian, male, female, straight, gay, transgender, etc, etc. American, You all get the picture.  We ask that you respect everyone no matter where they come from.  Those who find someone targeting another that may fall under this, will immediately be removed from this Fan  Page.  Again, we do not tolerate this type of behavior.

5)  Have Fun no matter what!

Thanks again for what you do, the people you serve, the lives you save and putting it all on the line for us – there are really no words to say how grateful we are!  This is the least thing that we can offer to you.
