Save Medic 32! Medic 32 is scheduled to be ELIMINATED on August 20th 2012.

Board of County Commissioners in Bartow, Florida, there will be several citizens presenting their views against the elimination of 1 of the busiest Advanced Life Support Ambulances in west Lakeland. They will be asking the county commission to suspend their decision to eliminate ALS unit Medic 32. There are concerns that the elimination of this ambulance will cost citizens in west lakeland their lives or cause permanent disability due to the delayed response and transport of the critically injured, stroke, and heart attack victims.

Residents of Polk County PLEASE come to the meeting on August 7th and show your support! The meeting will be held at the BOCC Building in Bartow across from the County courthouse. The meeting is at 9:00 AM. Bring your signs, bring your megaphones, or just show up!
