We are sad to report that Knotts Island VFD’s Fire Chief Scott Morrison was killed in the line of Duty.

Chief Morrison was operating at the scene of a brush fire incident at the 500 block and Knotts Island Road, when he collapsed from a heart attack.  Fellow first responders on scene treated and transported him a nearby hospital where he passed away from his injury.
