It is with sadness and regret, that we must announce the death of Wildland Firefighter, Kevin Hall, 59 of Ontario, OR due to a medical emergency.
He had been working for a private contract and supporting a bulldozer crew working to repair a fireline. He was found unresponsive in a pickup truck. Other workers started CPR but were unable to revive him.
Sympathies to his family and fire community he served. We are sorry for your loss. Though working for a private contractor, we consider all to be part of our fire family. WE WILL NEVER FORGET those who have sacrificed their lives while serving and protect lives and property.
