CA WILDFIRE: Potwisha Fire Is Now Contained

LOCATION.

The fire was located in Sequoia / Kings Canyon National Parks, CA at Potwisha Grade at Hwy 198.

FIRE STATUS.

The fire has been 100% contained as of 4/4/15, 2040 Hours PDT.

FIRE SUMMARY.

The fire was human-caused and it is currently under investigation.  It originally started around 1330 Hours PDT today within 45 minutes it was at seven [7] acres.  Around 1800 Hours PDT it was holding at 20 acres.

Fire suppression was conducted by National Park Service and CALFire with engines and aircraft.  40 personnel were on scene.

Fire fuels were mixed brush & oak.
