Incident Summary

A fire started this afternoon 1348 Hours PDT in the  38000 block of Pala Temecula Road, Temecula (San Diego County), California  that prompted earlier mandatory evacuations.  They have been lifted as of 1830 Hours PDT.

It appears the fire started from an earlier 2-story single-family residence (house fire) that extended into the brush.

Forty-five (45) acres have been scorched and crews have successfully gained a 10% containment status.
