Incident Summary | A wildfire has been newly reported on Friday, July 7th through the National Interagency Coordination Center, which indicates the wildfire is located 15 miles East of Malin, Oregon.

Current Fire Conditions | Fire behavior is stated to be active with short-range spotting, wind-driven runs and with isolated torching.  There has been 346 acres consumed with an 80% containment status.

Fire Fuels | Fire fuels include both brush and short grass.

Resources | The fire is located on BLM lands in the Lakeview District and there are 29 BLM personnel assigned to this incident alongside 1 crew, 7 engines and 2 helicopters.

Cost-To-Date | Cost-to-date fire suppression and containment costs have reached up to $150,000.
