LAUREL PARK FIRE – NEAR DEER PARK, WASHINGTON
A wildfire broke out this afternoon, prompting resources AA 1010F AR 27 AR 441 AR 443 AR 448 BLM 11 DNR 33 E 32 FB 202 FB 206 LOA 34 that were dispatched around 1555 hours.
The incident is located about 4 miles East of Deer Park and burning close to Hwy 2 near Laurel Road; North of Chattaroy in Spokane County, Washington.
Fire personnel and resources on-scene from DNR, SCFD4, SCSO, WSP, SCFD1 .
The fire has now scorched about 60 acres of land.
Air resources are making a good knockdown on the wildfire.
Current temps for this incident are 90*F temps, sunny with 14% relative humidity (RH) and clear skies.
Media staging is located at Hwy 2 and Westmoreland Road.
SCSO, WSP also on scene controlling traffic. Avoid Hwy 2 near Chattaroy, as it is closed
