Incident Summary | A wildfire is burning on the Chuckanut Mountain in Whatcom County on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Fire assets were dispatched around 1747 on Tuesday, August 1st.
Resources | E66, 523, 542, 544; GL31; ORCA27, SAM30 and IC (arrived @ 1900 hours 8/1/2017) are all on-scene. A Type 3 has been ordered for Wednesday, August 2, 2017, along with additional resources ordered.
Size Up | The fire has currently scorched 60 acres and is considered as fast-moving with a high rate of spread (ROS). There is no containment at this time. Four homes are currently under direct threat.
