ABOUT CANYON CREEK
Canyon Creek is a super hot outdoor destination that is surrounded by old-growth forest that is popular with kids and families, alike. It has many picnicking, camping and swimming. There is a nearby swimming area on the Little North Fork of the Santiam River with a sandy and pebble beach. The current is slow and small rapids feed to a few smaller pools that connect to a bigger water spot and making it a great slide pool that kids use to entertain themselves and others watching.
The area is managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
