Seattle Firefighters were dispatched by the Fire Alarm Center around 2029 to the 4300 block of 9th Avenue Northeast on Wednesday evening for a fire in a building call.
Units arrived quickly and determined with several minutes on-scene that this was actually one of their more common call response, as a “food on the stove” call. The fire was extinguished.
This was dispatched as a full response with the following units: A25 AIR10 B2 DEP1 E16 E22 E9 L10 L8 M17 M44 MAR5 REHAB1 SAFT2 STAF10.
The call was degraded to a small response and all responding units were code green, which returned them back into service.
