Tussock Fire

Phoenix District Office/BLM. IMT Type 1 (SW Team 2). 8 miles SW of Crown King. 5,517 acres of short grass. 17% contained. Moderate fire behavior with uphill runs, backing and flanking. Structures threatened. 477 personnel, 11 crews, 10 engines, 5 helos. $2.2 Million cost-to-date. BLM lands.

Maverick Fire

Tonto NF, USFS. 25 miles NE of Scottsdale. 1,000 acres of grass and brush. 80% contained. Min fire behavior. Infrastructure and structures threatened. 21 personnel. 1 crew. $850,000 CTD. Forest Service lands.

Copper Canyon Fire

Central District. AZ Depart of Forestry. 4 miles NE of Globe. 2,875 acres of brush and grass. 68% contained. Min fire behavior with smoldering. Structures threatened. 53 total personnel. 1 crew, 3 engines, 1 helo. $612,000. State lands.

Gila River Fire

Gila District Office. BLM. 11 miles NE of Florence. 241 acres of timber and grass. 50% containment. 51 total personnel 2 crews, 1 engine. $150,000 CTD.

CALIFORNIA

Pine Fire

Off of Highway 138 and 248th Street. Pinion Hills. LA County. 450 acres. 10% containment. Lead Agency: LA County FD. Evacuations in effect.

Santa Fe Fire

Los Angeles County. 30 acres. 20% containment.

NEW MEXICO

Three Rivers Fire

Lincoln NF. USFS. 12 miles NW of Ruidoso. 7,040 acres of short grass and timber. 50% contained. Minimal fire behavior with creeping and smoldering. 36 personnel, 3 engines, 1 helicopters. Min fire behavior with creeping and smoldering. $4.1 Million CTD.
