CORONADO NATIONAL FOREST — The WARREN FIRE is burning on the Coronado National Forest in the Douglas Ranger District, which was sparked on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 around 2110 hours MST. Its cause is under investigation.
LOCATION — The fire is burning in the Chiricahua Mountains, north of Horseshoe Canyon Road in Arizona.
STAFFING — IC Gustafson. There are about 128 firefighters and support staff assigned.
FIRE STATUS — Fire behavior is minimal with smoldering and backing. It has burned about 1,400 acres of tall and short grasses and brush. There is a 40% containment status reached.
