SUMMARY — The CUTOFF FIRE is burning about six miles north of Bonanza on private and BLM lands, which was reported today at 1330 hours PT.

SIZE UP — 250 acres. Very active with a rapid rate of spreading to the east and towards the Wren subdivision with majority of the fire burning on BLM lands.

CAUSE — Unknown, under investigation.

INCIDENT COOPERATORS — Oregon OSFM, BLM – Lakeview District, SCOFMP Fire Info, OR DOF, Fremont-Winema NF, Klamath County CERT, Sheldon-Hart Mountains and Klamath Basin Wildlife Refuge Complexes, Red Cross, Klamath County SO and SAR teams.

THREATENED — 120 structures.

LEVEL 3 (GO NOW!) Evacuations are now in effect as of 6/19/2021 1809 PT.

  • east of Bly Mountain Cutoff Road
  • north to Grizzly Lane
  • west of Hummingbird Lane
  • south to Keno Springs Road

LEVEL 2 (GET SET) Evacuations are now in effect as of 6/19/2021 1810 PT.

  • west of Forest Service Road 3812

LEVEL 1 (GET READY) Evacuations are now in effect as of 6/19/2021 1810 PT.

  • north to Hwy 140 and Kingfisher Drive
  • south to Grizzly Lane
