GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON STATE
A wildfire broke out on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, n on SR243 South and Beverly Burke Rod SW, about five miles north of Mattawa, Washington.

Traffic to local roadways were impacted due to smoke over streets, prompting traffic impacts.
Around 1230 hours PT, the fire was reported by County Officials that it was under control and firefighters were busy working by air and ground. It was stated it is an extended incident, which includes local and federal agencies.
Incident Cooperators — WSP, WA EMD, Grant Co SO, Grant County Fire. IC: Luebbers as of 1333 PT.
About 5.2 acres of grass and shrub have been burned.
