UPDATE 1 – JULY 11, 2021 – SUNDAY

DNR – Southern Land Office is the Lead Agency with a an IMT Type 2 (Northern Rockies Team 7) managing the incident that contains three fires, previously reported under PETERSON, MUSSELSHELL TRAIL RD, WESTERN ROAD FIRES.

The fires are located 11 miles northwest of Bighorn, Montana.

Fire behavior is moderate with isolated torching.

Homes are threatened.

Collectively, the fire has burned a total of 24,007 acres and there is a 60% containment status.

There are about 246 total fire personnel along with nine crews.

Total cost-to-date for fire suppression and containment expenses have reached $2.3 Million Dollars.
