BEAVERHEAD-DEERLODGE NF – A wildfire is burning around 25 miles NW of Wisdom and seven-to-eight miles west of Wise River, Montana, which ignited in the last 24 hours.
The lightning sparked fire behavior is active with uphill runs, single-tree torching and spotting.
Structures are under threat.
The SA Blue Team, an IMT Type 1 is en route. Current IC is Shane Martin, a Type 3 Incident Commander.
Currently, about 79 acres have been scorched and there is a zero containment status on this fire.
About five personnel are the only ones assigned with no other resources.
Cost-to-date expenses have reached $100,000.
