BEAVERHEAD-DEERLODGE NATIONAL FOREST — Three separate wildfires the ALDER CREEK, TRAIL CREEK and the CHRISTENSEN FIRES are all burning near one another.

This wildfire named the ALDER CREEK FIRE is burning about 20 miles northwest of Wisdom, Montana.
The fire is being managed along with the other two incidents under the command of the SA Blue Team, an IMT1 and with a SW Team 1, also an Type 1 IMT Team en route to assist the blue team.
About 6,298 acres of fuels are timber and medium slash have been destroyed. There is a three percent containment status.
This fire started on July 8, 2021 from an undetermined caused that is under investigation.
There are 322 total personnel, along with three crews, 19 engines and five helicopters.
Cost-to-Date fire suppression and containment expenses have reached $3.8 Million Dollars.
