Thank you for visiting our Blog and reading today’s wildfire activity in the State of Alabama. A few fires have taken place and Ranger Districts have been prepping forested areas with Prescribed Fires.

TK 26 Fire

A wildfire broke out on the Tuskegee Ranger District on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 1654 hours. Approximately 25 acres were burned. The containment status and resources are unknown at the time of this post.

SC Brymer ABC

This prescribed fire was completed on the Shoal Creek Ranger District this morning at 0933 hours. The total number of acres consumed was 1,184.

BK Houston A

A prescribed fire started at 0906 hours this morning, located at Bankhead burned off 492 acres.
