The Adrian Fire started on Friday, April 1, 2022, around 1400 hours off of County Road 190, about five miles south of I-20 between Sweetwater and Trent (Nolan County), Texas.
About 700 acres of juniper and grass have been consumed. It is now 80% contained.

Unified Command is with Texas A&M Forest Service (TAMFS) with local fire agencies.
Aviation resources include Large Air Tankers (LAT) and Very Large Air Tankers (VLAT), plus a single Type 1 copter (water drops).
Fire behavior observed as increasing in size by more than 150 acres due to recent burnout operations after nightfall, moderate winds, and spot fires are of concern for fire managers.
