The MILLER ROAD FIRE is located eight miles southwest of Maupin (Wasco County) in the State of Oregon, which was sparked by an unknown cause on August 2, 2022. This is Incident #OR-954S-000659.
The fire has burned 11,186 acres of grass, an increase of up almost an additional 1,000 acres. There is a 25% containment status.
The incident is in Unified Command with OSFM Blue Team and the NW Team 8, a Type 2 IMT.
Fire behavior is moderate.
Evacuations are in effect.
There is approximately 323 total personnel along with eight crew and 36 engines.
One structure has been lost.
There is a $1.2 Million CTD.
