The FAIRVIEW FIRE ignited on September 5, 2022, around 1540 hours PT near Bautista Road and Fairview Avenue in the unincorporated area of Hemet (Riverside County), California.
The fire has consumed approximately 28,307 acres of grass and chaparral and is now 98% contained.
Fire behavior is minimal with smoldering and some heat well inside the interior.
Officials say the planned actions for the next operational period are tactical patrol and suppression repair
