SKAGIT COUNTY, WA — The Skagit County Fire District firefighter(s) is/are on the scene of a truck fire at the Bow Hill Rest Area and Officials are asking the traveling public to avoid the area.

The fire appears to be tapped and crews are working to clear the scene to go back in service. WSP will be working to have a heavy tow truck arrive to remove the wreckage.

The Bow Hill Rest area remains closed at this time. There is no ETA at the moment, per WSP.

It is unknown the cause or if the County Fire Marshal is on the scene. We have reached out the WSP for additional information.
