A 2-alarm brush fire broke out on Payne Road in Kittitas County, Washington this afternoon, where five acres were burned.

The forward progression of the fire was just before 1700 hours this evening.

Incident Cooperators include Kittitas County Fire District 1, Kittitas Valley Fire & Rescue District 2 and members from the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (WA DNR). WA DNR resources were dispatched at 1517 hours PT.
