The East Pierce Fire & Rescue is currently having a new Fire Station built in Bonney Lake (Pierce), Washington and they are hosting the Groundbreaking Ceremony on September, 2023, at 1100 hours.
It is an ample time to meet those who are part of this great Fire Station (Station 117) in the making.

East Pierce Fire & Rescue serves the Bonney Lake, Edgewood, Milton, Lake Tapps, Sumner, Tehaleh, and Ridge Communities. They serve about 100,500 residents in a 153-square mile radius, responding from their current eight fire stations. One of the stations is a volunteer and the other is located on Lake Tapps for the marine rescue unit. Six others are fully staffed.
Their fully six staffed stations are located at:
- Station 111: Bonney Lake – 18421 Veterans Memorial Drive East.
- Station 112: Prairie Ridge – 12006 214th Ave. East.
- Station 113: Sumner – 800 Harrison Street.
- Station 114: Lake Tapps – 3206 W. Tapps Drive East.
- Station 116: Foothills – 10515 234th Ave. East.
- Station 118: Edgewood – 10105 24th Street East.
- Station 119: South Prairie – 350 SR 162, South Prairie. (Volunteer Station)
- Station 122: Water Rescue Facility – 2905 Sumner-Tapps Highway East., Bonney Lake.
