PHOENIX, ARIZONA — Firefighters with the PFD were dispatched to a house fire in the 2000 block of West Madison, just before 1000 hours MT today.

Units include: E15 R15 CR1 L1 F112 F115 F120 F130 APS000 PHXP05 and SWG000.

One male occupant was extricated by firefighters and treated for smoke inhalation. He was transported to a nearby hospital.

A multiple number of cats were rescued with one needing to be resuscitated by first responders who used a Fido Bag.

The cause and property loss are unknown and under investigation.

No firefighters or other citizens were injured.
