VANCOUVER, WA (USA) — Vancouver Police are reporting a disturbance at one of their large shopping mall to the point of forcing shoppers to exit the structure, while law enforcement is searching the building.
A large Police presence is due to a report of a shooting that occurred inside the mall, which injured two people and one being killed. The other two victims were said to be transported to an area hospital.
There is no current active threat inside the mall and some shoppers have been told to shelter in place, per law enforcement officials.
The reunification area is located outside of the Hobby Lobby for anyone who may have been separated during the incident. If there is an open exit, Police are stating those can leave through any open exit.
Several media outlets reported that the mall was the venue for a large Trick-or-treat event, where the shooting occurred at the movie theater.
Police are asking for the Public’s help by providing information by calling their Tip Line at 360-487-7399.
