UPDATE 1: December 30, 2024, 2150 PT
Some incredible images have been released by the Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue (Lead Fire Agency) from the working house fire located in the 2100 block of 71st Street SE in Lake Stevens (Snohomish County), Washington.
The fire broke out earlier this evening, prompting the dispatch of firefighters to respond from the SCRF&R, and those from Everett Fire, Marysville Fire & Snohomish County Fire District #4 (city of Snohomish) as mutual aid.
What was originally a fire in the garage, first-due units arrived and were greeted by multiple vehicles ablaze near an attached garage and extended to the home.
Two adults have been displaced and the Red Cross is assisting them.
The cause is unknown at the time of this post. Another presser will be released by the investigating Fire Agency on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
The fire is still burning but is now under control.
There have been no reports of injuries to the occupants who were able to escape safely or to responding / on-the-scene firefighters.
