Texas Game Wardens — Have been working at their Command Post to coordinate SAR activities now including a minimal number of 60 personnel, two helicopters, boats, and multiple drones. They are fully on deck for however long they are needed.
Missing Kids — Several camps from Camp Mystic located near the River have been reported as missing, and searchers have been looking for them. We were going to post their photos, but phone numbers are attached to them and we want to leave it up to Officials to continue to coordinate the search of these young littles.

INCIDENT SUMMARY
HILL COUNTRY, TEXAS — Overnight storms brought heavy rainfall to parts of Hill Country, causing flash flooding in Kerrville on the Guadalupe River, sweeping vehicles downstream, damaging properties, and causing reported missing people to local authorities.
INCIDENT COOPERATORS
Bexar County ESD Association
Resources were dispatched via the Bexar County ESD Association, which includes Districts 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 11, and 12, which have mobilized their equipment and personnel to this area as a Hill County Flood Response team. Their resources include ambulances, rescue teams, drones, and boats equipped with highly skilled and trained Swiftwater Rescue Technicians.

CLOSED — Louise Hays Park, Kerrville-Schreiner Park.
4th of July Event Canceled — Due to rising waters and dangers happening all over the City, the fireworks show and festivities have been canceled.
Disaster Declaration Issued — The City’s Mayor issued a Disaster Declaration this morning due to massive flooding that has impacted their City, its properties, its residents, and more.

Kerr County Sheriff’s Office, City of Kerrville Police Department
Alongside other first responder teams, they are continuing with rescues and recovery efforts in the town of Kerrville, while the Sheriff’s Office is doing the same but across the County.
Kerrville Fire EMS
The Kerrville FD, along with the Police and County Sheriff, are providing services such as water rescues and recovery efforts in town. They were on the scene of a local nursing home around 0619 hours (West coast time) this morning,g which is located near the river, providing assistance to residents with original plans to evacuate but instead helped them with sheltering in place. They are deemed to be safe.
Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (Game Wardens)
Game Warden SAR teams are actively conducting rescues across the region with additional boat crews en route. Their Aviation unit and rescue swimmers are assisting from the air with an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program that provides live aerial feed to their emergency management partners at the State EOC.

“Catastrophic flooding is ongoing in parts of the Concho Valley and Hill Country. A deadly flood wave is moving down the Guadalupe River from Kerrville to Center Point to Comfort and Sisterdale. Additional heavy rain will create additional flooding.” – Local weather forecaster.
Camp Capers
The camp reports that they are on their midsummer break; therefore, no campers are onsite. All staff on site are safe and out of harm’s way. The Site Director is monitoring the conditions.
Kerrville, Kerr County
Locals are reporting that The Hunt Store, the areas in Kerrville in Kerr County, and surrounding communities have been impacted by the floods.

The Diner has been listed on the Social Media page for City of Kerrville, TX – City Hall as a location that is open and serving meals.
