At approximately 4:20 PM on Wednesday afternoon Keavy Vol Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Keavy Road. Upon our arrival there was smoke and fire coming from the north side of the residence.

The fire was contained to a bedroom with major damage to the interior of that room and some minimum smoke damage to the remainder of the residence. Also responding to the scene was Ambulance Inc. of Laurel Co and Laurel Co Department of Public Safety. No injuries reported from the fire.
