Roche Harbor Extends Invitation to all but limited teams able to enter this great competition.
Registration opened September 10, 2012.
Dear Friends,
This is a special invitation for you to participate in a premiere San Juan Island event where hundreds of Firefighters from all around the Pacific Northwest will compete for honors and prizes in a Multi-sport Challenge. The event will benefit Code 3 for a Cure Foundation and firefighter’s designated charities.
Participants will be treated to Roche Harbor’s hospitality, and support the Code 3 for a Cure Foundation and a favorite hometown charity in a 50/50 fundraiser split.
Code 3 for a Cure Foundation brings hope and support to firefighters and their families, and honors the memory of courageous firefighters who have fought cancer.
Firefighter, Robert Verhelst, of the Madison, Wisconsin Fire Department, will be participating in the competition. Rob worked on the Search, Rescue and Recovery team at the World Trade Center, and is dedicated to participate in events that honor our fallen heroes of September 11, and make a difference for firefighters battling cancer. Follow Rob at: www.firemanrob.com.
Firefighters will compete in teams of three or as individuals. Registration opens September 10, 2012, with advance notice, and will be limited to 100 teams and/or 300 total participants.
Registration fee of $170 includes: Welcome Prime Rib Banquet, Kayak w/outfitting, post-race five-Alarm Chili Cookoff with live music, Firehouse Breakfast, Awards Banquet and Prizes!
