Shoreline, Washington – Approximately 1600 hours this afternoon, Firefighters were dispatched to a house fire in the 18300 block of Stone Way North in Shoreline.

Firefighters arrived to a home fully engulfed and residents in the front yard.  Mutual aid units from Seattle, Northshore and Bothell Fire Departments were called in to assist.  Units from Northshore and Bothell Fire are unknown, but Seattle Fire’s CAD shows they dispatched Battalion 6, Engines 22, 39, 24 and Ladder 5 around 1609 hours.

The fire was quickly brought under control by firefighters within ten minutes.

One fire victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with severe burns.  Their current condition is unknown at this time, but we know he/she is in very good hands.

Four people lived in the home.  We are unsure how many people were in the home at the time when the fire broke out.

PSE is on scene inspecting gas lines from the home.  Investigators will be on scene for the next few hours to determine the cause.  There is no initial cause at the moment.

Explosions were reported and unconfirmed, however tires from vehicles in the driveway blew up which could count for what others thought they heard.

No firefighters or other personnel were reported injured on scene.
