Glendora, CA – As of 1700 Hours today, an evac order was lifted for residents who live between Yucca Ridge and Ranch Road, Crystal Canyon Condo Complex and Mirador Housing Tract, allowing them return to their residences.
However, Mountain Cove residents are NOT allowed back to theirresidences. There is still concern for the roadway and homes in that area. FireFighters are still working in the area. Police will notify those as to when they can return to their homes.
Over 1100 firefighters working last night and throughout the day were able to hold the fire to 1863 acres. They will continue to work through the evening.
Fire is still contained at 30%. Firefighters are ready to fight into the night and building a containment area.
Helos from SCE will be flying around the area on power poles that may have been damanged in the fire.
