Savannah, Georgia – A fire erupted at a downtown warehouse located at 950 W. River Street, Savannah around 0930 West Coast time. Cause at this time is unknown.
All persons were reported as out of the building. It is unknown if there are any injuries at the moment.
Plumes of smoke could be seen from the freeway, approximately 300 yards from the fire building. Some drivers videotaping the fire, could feel the heat from the fire. See their video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0ApJi-Fydo.

At 1105 West Coast time, a reserve truck came in carrying water arrived on scene. Firefighters were laying three lines on the West side and had two lines on the East side.
