Dillon, MT | A fire burning grass and brush was reported around 1400 Hours MST today, located 17 miles SW of Dillon near the East side of I-15. The Fire has been designated as The Hanneberry Cabin Fire.
Firefighters are trying to establish a perimeter around the fire. Two helicopters have been helping with water drops.

Approximately, 45 firefighters from the MT DNRC Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, the Lima and Dillon Volunteer Fire Departments are working in conjunction to extinguish this blaze. Already, 31 acres have been burned.
The Union Pacific RR had halted train traffic temporarily.
I-15 is currently open but drivers are being warned to be cautious due to smoke in the area.
There is no know cause at the moment. Officials are investigating.
