Location: Bingham & Lizard Ridges of Mt. Jefferson, 150 acres outside of Wilderness. Detroit, OR.
Start Date: July 13, 2014 @ 1800 Hours.
Cause: Lightning.
Personnel: 411.
Resources: (8) 20-person crews, (1) 10-person Fire Module and (6) Helos (Type 1 Helo (2), Type 2 (2) and Type 3 (2). (1) Water Tender and (1) Dozer.
Managed by: Willamette NF out of Springfield, OR. Fire PIO: 503-854-4210.
Containment Status: 30%.

Acres Burned: 452 Total. Fire is made up of (4) separate fires Bingham Ridge (275 acres), Lizard Fire (175 acres), Incident #152 (2 acres) and Incident #162 (0.1 acres).
Closures: Willamette NF has closures to the general public. Only NF employees, Agency Personnel, Law Enforcement and Firefighters will be allowed to access these areas. Please note: These are currently closed to the Public.
Road[s]: Forest Road 2253 (Minto Rd.).
Trails: Pamelia (3439), Hunts Creek (3451), Hunts Cove (3430), Grizzly Peak (3428), Bingham (3421), portions of Lake of the Woods (3493), Mountain (3448), portions of the Swallow Lake Trail (3488), and Newport Drive (3438). The Pacific Crest Trail (2000) between Swallow Trail (3493) and junction and Milk Creek (mile 2035.3).
