Ventura County, California | A wildland fire reportedly broke out on Wednesday, November 11th around 1740 hours located approximately two miles of Simi Valley and located off of Wood Ranch Parkway.
Around 2000 Hours PST, CAL Fire stated the fire had reached about 40 acres and there was no threats to nearby structures.
One hundred firefighters are assigned to this incident from Ventura County and CAL Fire Departments, along with air resources from LA County and Ventura County FDs.
Firefighters quickly stopped the forward spread of this fire and have reached a 50% containment status.
There was no cause known at this time of this post.
No injuries were reported.
