According to the NW InterAgency Coordination Center report for today’s date, here are what Fire Managers/Representatives are reporting:

There were 154 news fires that were addressed through light initial attack attack.  Of those new fires, there was only 1 new large incident, but 14 still remain uncontained.  There is 1 Type 1 IMT and 5 Type 2 IMTs committed.

ALASKA

Iniakuk Lake, Tanana Zone, BLM.  Started on state land 40 mi NW of Bettles. Timber and short grass. Moderate fire behavior with torching, backing, and creeping. Structures threatened. (Last report) #IniakukLakeFire

In the Californian region, the Southern Cal region reported 30 new fires with

Appaloosa , Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit, Cal Fire. 9 mi SW of Angels Camp, CA. Timber, chaparral, and tall grass. Minimal fire behavior.  310 acres.  90% contained.  100 personnel.  4 crew. 7 engines.  $1.1 Million (CTD) #AppaloosaFire
