Incident Summary | Approximately at 1807 Hours PDT this evening, a vegetation fire broke out about three (3) hours ago. The fire was about two acres at the time.
Location | Location North of the De La Rosa neighborhood in the Sterling and Foothills in California.

1847 | Additional firefighting personnel and equipment arriving now, Rialto FD and Redlands FD. Fire was reported as being a stubborn fire and smoke blowing to the SE.
1849 | San Bernardino County FD and San Bernardino NF are Unified Command. 20 acres 0% containment burning in area of Borea Canyon.
1850 | IC states: 17 engines, 2 handcrews, 2 helos, 2 air tankers, 2 tenders, mult overhead assigned w/ additional resources en route.
1851 | Fire started in SB city and is now burning on forest. No immediate structure threat. PIO avail on scene at ICP.
1852 | 20 acres scorched. 0% contained.
1900 | IC reports fixed wing have retardant line around fire. Firefighters making good progress. 25 acres.
1923 | San Bernardino states: Too early to determine cause of fire or poss connection to the homeless encampment.
2005 | IC states: Forward rate of spread stopped. Fire holding at 30 acres. Crews to remain overnight to construct and reinforce lines.
