FRESNO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Incident Summary | A wildfire is burning off of Highway 198 and Alcade Road, just South of Coalinga (Fresno County), California that started on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 1311 hours PDT. The cause is under investigation.

Staffing | There are 539 firefighters, along with and 18 fire crews currently on fire operations.
Equipment | In addition to staffing, equipment on-site includes, but is not limited to: 50 fire engines, 2 helicopters, 11 bulldozers and 5 water tenders.
Current Update | As of 1830 PST this evening, the forward spread has been stopped and remaining crews will conduct burnout operations of unburned fuels in the interior of the perimeter. About 10,300 acres have been burned. Fire crews have successfully reached a 70% containment status. UPDATE | The fire has now been contained to 75% as of Saturday, May 20th.
Closures | All road closures have been lifted, including any evacuation orders.
