CRANE, Ore. – A wildfire ignited about eight miles east of Crane on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

Location

Fire burning about eight miles east of Crane, Oregon.  Crane is located in an unincorporated area of Harney County and along OR Route 78.  Its population in 2010 was less than 130 residents.

Resources

Resources include C201, E423 and E616 along with IC Dallon Swindlehurst arriving at 1850 hours.

Fuels

Fire fuels include grass and brush.

Incident Status

Fire has burned 73 acres.  Showing in the Fire CAD System as an open incident.  Limited information.
