JUNE 9, 2019 – SUNDAY – 1500 HOURS PDT
USAR members from the Dallas Fire Department are on-scene of a crane collapse major incident in the 2600 block of Live Oak Street in Dallas, Texas.
This accident occurred today when strong winds blew this large piece of equipment on to an apartment complex.
Due to the large MCI incident, DFD dispatched the following USAR units: US33, US19; TR33, TR19; SU03; RE01, RE03, RE06, RE08, RE11, RE19, RE57, RE53, RE44, RE42, RE38, RE37, RE34, RE33, RE23, RE218, RE219, RE780, RE81, RE82, RE83, RE84, RE807, RE815; BC03 BC09; EN19, EN23, EN09, EN19, EN23, EN33, EN46; HM03,
It has been reported sadly that one person was killed and six injured from this tragedy. We are thinking about their families and communities where they may have lived, worked or were a part of.
